President Obama plans to grant reprieve to 5 million illegal immigrants for a temporary legal protection from deportation which also includes other services like:

-The students who qualify for the President’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals would be benefitted by paying in-state tuition charge at public colleges and universities in Massachusetts provided they have their work permit.

-DACA-protected immigrants can apply for driver’s license upon getting their Social Security number at Massachusetts.

– Undocumented immigrants can benefit by signing up for State funded subsidized housing even if they don’t have a legal immigration status.

-By becoming legal permanent citizens or citizens, undocumented children would qualify for food stamps.

-Children would receive more public benefit regardless of their immigration status.

-Emergency medical care and other benefits can be obtained for all noncitizens including those of undocumented immigrants.
